Hello and welcome! I am excited to be a part of your child’s learning experience as Principal of Ninety Six Primary School. I grew up in Ninety Six and graduated from Ninety Six High School. Some of my favorite parts of childhood are memories in the school that I get to work in every day! I graduated from Presbyterian College with a degree in Special Education and received my Master’s degree from Winthrop University in Educational Leadership and Administration. I also completed my National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist.
My background includes teaching children with special needs for fifteen years. I spent one year as Assistant Principal for NSPS and NSES before becoming Principal of NSPS during the 2020-2021 school year. These past five years have been a wonderful adventure full of learning, growing, and loving every part of NSPS!
My husband and I live in Ninety Six with our precious sons, Patton, Sutton, and Britton. They are all a part of the Ninety Six school district and keep us very busy! We spend our free time on a ball field year around and I would not want it any other way. We also have three dogs named Olive, Ollie, and Max. I enjoy traveling to new places with my family and reading a good book!
I am proud to lead Ninety Six Primary School and be a part of our students and staff striving for excellence every day. I am so very proud of the work we do at NSPS and our students amaze us on a daily basis! Come join us for an amazing educational experience within the Ninety Six community. |

Hello NSPS Family! As the Assistant Principal of NSPS, I love being part of the Ninety Six community and sharing in your child's learning experiences. As a small-town girl from Gray Court, SC, our community sure feels like home! My husband, Jason, and I are both in education and love what we do! We also have three children - Emma Kate, Bailey, and Connor; they keep us busy with dance and sports. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and cheering on our Wildcats! My education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from USC-Upstate and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Converse College. In 2009, I became a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy and renewed my certification in 2019. I also have an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Arkansas State University. Before coming to NSPS, I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 11 years and served as a reading interventionist for 3 years at Woodruff Elementary. After that I worked at Edgewood Middle School for 3 years in a similar role. In 2021, I became the Assistant Principal for Ninety Six Primary school. It's a pleasure to work with such an amazing community of parents and educators to provide our students with the best learning experiences possible! |
