 I am the District Attendance/Truancy Officer for Ninety Six schools.  It is my belief that all children benefit greatly when they have regular, consistent and good attendance in school.  I also work with our school district's parenting program.  I provide home visits and age appropriate developmental information to parents of children prenatal through the age of five.  

 

I believe that children learn best when parents/guardians are actively involved with their child and set expectations for their child/children.  I agree with the Parents as Teachers model which emphasizes that parents are their child's first and most important teacher.

 

I am a graduate of South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC with a degree in Guidance Education.   I enjoy getting to know children, their families and understand that each family is unique.
