Welcome to the 1st Grade! I am Mrs. Thompson, and I am looking forward to being your child’s teacher for this school year. I have been teaching for 11 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014, my ESOL certification in 2017, and my Master's in Instructional Technology in 2025. I am currently working towards a Master's in Diverse Learners. In addition to teaching first grade this year, I am the district MLP teacher.
I live in Greenwood with my husband, James. We have 4 grown children, a granddaughter and 2 grandsons. I enjoy spending time with family, camping, hiking, and kayaking.
